超級星光大道

[WanSien]

Been taking to watching [超級星光大道] lately. It's airing on Channel 301 every Sunday night at 8pm. I don't much like watching all these singing programs. They all seem too much like they're ripping off from [American Idol]. Notice the frequency of said programs ever since [American Idol] made it big?


But this is different. Got attracted when I heard some dude singing Gary Cao's [背叛]. He sounded good!!! Then when I went back to Kelantan, all my relatives were watching it. And so, with nothing better to do over there...sat down to watch loh.


Needless to say, I got hooked. =.=


So...the guy who sang [背叛] was called Aska Yang, 杨宗纬. He isn't terribly good-looking...

Oh fine, he's bordering on ugliness. BUT his voice is oh my god! I love his voice!!! His version of [背叛] is so much better than the original version! Yeps, in my opinion...he sounded way way WAY better than Gary. And his version of 梁静茹's [可惜不是你] is good too! I'm in loveeee with his voice!




All the other contestants were good too. Supremely good, I must say. There's this other guy called Kevin Xie, 謝政廷 who is ONLY 13 years old? He is sooooo cute!!! And his singing is W-O-W! I bow down to him.


The world is unfair, you know? Some people are just blessed with looks, good fortune, and talent. Humph!


Well...anyhow...I already know the results of the competition...even though Astro hasn't finished broadcasting it. Aska backed out half way through the competition due to some problems with his age. Bla bla bla. Pity. I'm 100% sure he would have won if he had stayed on. And apparently, someone PK off Kevin too, he's not in the top four finalist. I wonder who.
